In a bizarre crossover event that breaks traditional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The questline focuses on "strange experiments and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
